B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Purdue University
After earning my degree from Purdue, I began my career as a sales engineer with Siemens Energy & Automation. I later worked at two different startup companies, selling software solutions in dynamic, fast-paced environments. These experiences sharpened my skills in sales, technology, and problem-solving, but ultimately, I was drawn to the hands-on work of building and creating.
That passion led me to start my own renovation company, where I was deeply involved in the work alongside my partner. Over time, my focus shifted to custom home building, and in 2003, I founded Meyer Homes. Since then, I’ve been honored to work with incredible clients and a talented team, building homes that reflect both beauty and thoughtful design.
For 14 years, I served as a volunteer on the Village of Libertyville’s Appearance Review Committee, helping guide the aesthetic vision of the community I’m proud to call home.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three daughters, staying active, being involved in our church, and gathering with friends and family—especially to watch Purdue football and basketball.

Before joining Meyer Homes in 2020, I spent 27 years as an executive in healthcare, where I developed strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills. Along the way, I discovered a passion for design and construction, finding great satisfaction in the planning and meticulous details that go into projects.
My connection to Meyer Homes began in 2007 when my wife, Jan, and I hired the team to build our dream home in Libertyville. That experience deepened my love for construction and forged a lasting friendship with Brad. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling with my family, spending time in Wisconsin (go Packers!), and embracing the chaos of our home with three dogs and a cat.
Before joining Meyer Homes, I spent 26 years at a local healthcare company where I honed strong communication and organizational skills that have been invaluable throughout my career. During my tenure, I had the pleasure of working with Jim, which ultimately led me to join Meyer Homes in January 2025.
Coming from a family with a deep-rooted history in the construction, building and design have always been a part of my life. Transitioning into this field feels like a natural fit, blending my professional skills with a long-standing passion.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through fitness, exploring new destinations through travel, and, most importantly, spending quality time with my son, Gavin.

Growing up in a family centered around the trades job sites felt like home, sometimes literally. Whether I was helping my dad rehab a house, wrenching on my first dirt bike at 8, or modifying my Jeep, my hands were always busy.
From drones & geospatial technology consulting, to fintech, carpentry, and even planting trees in the woods of northern Canada, my professional career has been anything but linear. Along the way, having gathered a variety of experience, I knew construction was where I wanted to be.
As a Libertyville native, I’ve long admired the quality and reputation of Meyer Homes. When the opportunity arose to join the team, it was an easy decision.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors: running, fishing, camping, and golfing.
